Insurance follow-up Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of documented physician billing experience (required)
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and third party reimbursement regulations
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel & Word
Physician billing in post-acute care settings - IRF, LTAC, SNF, ALF, HH, Hospice (preferred)
Experience with insurance claims follow-up / denials management (preferred)
Medical billing/coding certification (preferred)
Enrollment and credentialing experience with third party insurance (preferred)
Experience with multiple EMR/EHR platforms
