Greet patients when they arrive, gather appropriate demographics and insurance information.
Address any patient concerns within the scope of the position or refer to management as deemed necessary.
Collect patient balances, co-pays, deductibles,etc.
Schedule appointments over the telephone and refer patients to online intake to screen potential patients.
Follow up with patients expeditiously to schedule patients appropriate for the practice.
Assist in the front office under the direction of front office coordinator in the check-in and check-out process of patients seen daily with the clinic.
Answer phones and take messages from patients and notify providers accordingly to any patient concerns that need to be addressed. Qualifications:
One year of medical front office experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish
One year of customer service with multi-phone line experience preferred
