Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for examination by taking and recording vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
Assisting Physicians: Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
Specimen Collection: Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, perform basic laboratory tests, and dispose of contaminated supplies.
Medication Administration: Administer medications as directed by a physician.
Patient Education: Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Wound Care: Perform wound care and dressing changes as needed.
Equipment Sterilization: Sterilize medical instruments and ensure exam rooms are clean and well-stocked. Administrative Duties -
Patient Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.
Insurance Processing: Verify patient insurance information and process insurance claims.
Billing and Coding: Assist with medical billing and coding for insurance purposes.
Patient Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and relay messages to the appropriate staff.
Inventory Management: Order and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment. Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
