Family Practice Physician

Specialty Accepted: Family Practice MD or Internal Med/Peds physician - Call coverage
Location: North Carolina – North of Raleigh
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Length of Assignment: Ongoing during permanent recruiting
Schedule: Hospital-shift is 7a-7p and peds-24 hr shift to handle peds calls at night

Job Details

Hospital

Typical cases seen/required: Call backs for deliveries or sick babies – transfer critical cases. Average 1 callback per month.

15-20 patient encounters per day including rounding and admissions

Ages: Mostly Adults, but must be comfortable treating pediatric patients (average Peds census is about 2-3 per day)

Requirements: BC/BE, BLS, ACLS, DEA
