Job Description

Specialty: MRI Technician

Job Description:

Competently perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with accepted standards of practice, including administering contrast agents (under the guidance and approval of the site Radiologist)

Review and complete patient screening forms and properly explain the procedure to the patient

Must maintain excellent patient care, comfort, safety and confidentiality, in addition to maintaining your technical competency through continuing education


Completion of a minimum of an approved two-year Radiologic Technology program - REQUIRED

Must be able to produce quality special imaging with limited supervision, and you must be able to interact in a responsible, professional, and ethical manner - REQUIRED

Must possess or be willing to obtain MR Advanced Registry - REQUIRED

Must possess an active Permit to Practice where applicable and/or required - REQUIRED

Must possess valid driver’s license with good driving record - REQUIRED

Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff members.
