Orthopedic Technician

Job Description:

The Orthopedic Technician assists athletic trainers, orthopedic surgeons, and supportive staff with patient care in the Orthopedic Surgery outpatient offices and clinics.

Assist physician staff in preparing patients for examinations

Removal and application of casts and splints

Fitting of orthopedic appliances and crutches

Application of adhesive strappings

Provide instruction and advice regarding exercise programs

Assist with other administrative tasks as specifically directed including inventory control, and stocking and resupplying patient exam rooms.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

2 years of experience

Education Bachelors Degree from accredited program, Masters/DPT

Active State License
